A warehouse can hold several unfinished decisions at once. One item may need a return request, another may lack enough information to match it to your account, and a third may be ready for packing. Treating all three as “waiting for the rest” can leave the most urgent problem untouched.

Start with what could become harder to change next. Storage time is one consideration, but it is not the only clock. A return condition, an unidentified arrival or a product with a limited shelf life may require attention before an older, otherwise settled item.

Build a queue by the next required action

For each stored order item, keep its order reference and Item ID with the current status, the date shown for that status, the unresolved question and the next action. Keep these notes private. The useful distinction is not simply arrived versus missing.

An item awaiting an appearance decision belongs in an inspection queue. An item you no longer want belongs in a cancellation or return queue, subject to its current conditions. An item whose incoming delivery cannot be associated with an order needs its identifying details resolved. Only items you have decided to keep belong in a packing plan.

This does not require buying an extra service for every item. If the existing information answers your question, record the decision and move on. If it does not, make the question specific before requesting anything chargeable. The QC photo guide explains how to decide whether another view would help.

Resolve unidentified arrivals before comparing packing options

If an incoming parcel has arrived but its association is unclear, assemble the available incoming tracking reference, order details, Item ID where one exists, and the date of the relevant delivery event. Ask which detail is missing or inconsistent.

Do not invent an Item ID for an unassociated parcel, or keep creating new records to make it appear somewhere. The task is to connect the real arrival with the correct order. This is different from asking where an international parcel is after dispatch; that later problem belongs in tracking.

An unidentified item cannot sensibly be treated as a settled part of a combined shipping plan. Resolve its status before using its assumed contents or weight to make another payment decision.

Keep the return decision ahead of packing changes

The storage period is not the period available for every return. A warehouse return may have a much shorter application window and separate eligibility conditions. Waiting until the end of storage to decide whether a size or style is acceptable can leave a different deadline behind.

If you are considering a return, preserve the item's packaging, tags and accessories while you ask what applies. Removing them for a smaller parcel may affect the condition in which the item could be returned. Read returns and refunds before authorizing a change you may later need to undo.

A request for help is also not the same as an accepted return or an agreed storage extension. Keep the reply and check which action was actually agreed, for which item and by when.

Separate ready items from unresolved items

Once an item is settled, decide whether it should leave now or wait for a specific reason. “Something else might be worth adding” is not a defined reason. A new purchase brings its own arrival, inspection and possible return decisions; it does not resolve the older ones.

If you consider separate parcels, request the available configurations and their charges. Do not assume splitting is available, that combining is always possible, or that either choice reduces the total. The official combining guidance notes that mailing restrictions can prevent a joint waybill even after items arrive.

Use the shipping guide to distinguish an item restriction from a packing or service choice. A parcel submission should identify the items you have actually decided to include, rather than stand in for a decision about everything held in storage.

Treat shelf life as a separate limit

The storage policy also excludes responsibility for problems caused by a product's own shelf life. A long storage allowance is not a freshness or suitability assessment.

Where an item has a relevant date or storage requirement, resolve it directly. Do not use the longest warehouse period as a reason to keep waiting. If the required condition cannot be established, reconsider committing more money to handling or shipping that item.

FAQ

Does contacting support automatically add storage time?

Do not assume so. Ask whether an extension or another arrangement has actually been accepted, and retain the item-specific reply and any stated conditions.

Is the 100-day period also my return deadline?

No. Storage and return conditions are separate. Check the return application conditions while you can still act on the item.

Should I buy another item while I wait?

Only if it is a purchase you already want and can fund on its own terms. An additional arrival does not solve an existing storage, identification or return problem.

Where the warehouse address fits in an agent purchase

For a purchase made through Kakobuy, the public purchase flow assigns the China-warehouse delivery to the seller after Kakobuy buys the product. The customer does not need to copy a general warehouse address into that purchase. The customer's later task is to select the items already shown in the warehouse, make a parcel, choose the available logistics service and provide the destination address for that parcel.

Keep those roles separate. The seller's domestic dispatch is the route to Kakobuy's warehouse; the customer's address belongs to the international parcel stage. If a specific order, return or forwarding task asks for an address, use the instruction attached to that record and its reference rather than reusing an address from another task. The published purchase overview does not provide a universal warehouse-address form or a promised warehouse arrival time, so neither should be inferred from a previous parcel.

Prioritise goods already waiting

Review items by needed action and any date shown in their records. Resolve existing goods before assuming a new arrival belongs in the same parcel.

Check contents and packing when combining items. Keep goods left behind in their own plan. Read the current item record before requesting changes or submitting shipment.

Use the address for the actual task

Obtain an order or return address from current transaction instructions. Keep recipient, reference and required identifying details together.

Avoid reusing an address from an unrelated parcel or old post. Ask which action an unclear address supports before sending goods. Preserve the reply with the order so destination and request stay connected.
