When two Kakobuy size readings seem to disagree, do not immediately order both sizes. First establish whether the readings describe the same object, unit, position and garment state. A number can be accurate yet unsuitable for the comparison you are making.

Work on the disagreement that changes your choice. You may need a different measurement, a clearer chart or a different cut rather than a larger version of everything.

Find out whether the numbers belong in one comparison

Identify the chart for the exact Item ID and selected option. Then read what its rows describe. A body chart concerns the person; a finished-garment chart concerns the clothing. A footwear chart may distinguish measured foot length from the size printed on the box.

Do not compare a body circumference directly with a flat garment width. Equally, do not convert the width into a body-size recommendation merely by doubling it. The intended fit and the chart's definitions still matter.

If the chart type is unclear, resolve that first. Taking more measurements of your own body will not explain an unlabeled number attached to a garment.

Check the method before changing the size

Several common disagreements have different causes:

Apparent disagreementWhat to clarify
The lengths differ although both say lengthWhere each measurement begins and ends
A waistband reading changesWhether the elastic is relaxed or stretched
Two similar numbers imply very different sizesThe units and whether the chart measures body or clothing
A shoe's centimetre label differs from measured feetWhether the row is a size label or actual foot length

These are comparison questions, not tolerances that apply to every item. Do not decide that a difference is acceptable by using an invented allowance.

For a garment reference, choose an appropriate piece you own and follow the selected chart's method. Keep the endpoints visible in your notes. A sleeve measured from the shoulder cannot be silently substituted for one measured from a different starting point.

Decide which dimension can reject the choice

Name the fit feature that matters most for the intended use. If trousers fit at the waist but the relevant hip measurement does not work, the waist match does not settle the purchase. If you need a particular top length, an acceptable chest width is not enough.

Look at how the available rows change together. Choosing the next size to gain room in one area may change the length or another feature you wanted to keep. Read the actual dimensions rather than assuming that a size step changes only the problem area.

The pants and shorts guide separates length changes from other fit issues. The tops guide considers quantity and cut, while jackets require attention to the functions you intend to use. Those choices tell you which measurement deserves attention first.

Keep fit preference separate from measuring technique

A correctly measured loose garment may still be looser than you want. That is not necessarily a measurement error. Decide whether you want its intended shape before trying to make its chart resemble a different style.

For layers, choose a relevant comparison rather than copying the dimensions of a close-fitting underlayer. For sets, review the components separately; a suitable top does not settle the bottom when both are sold under one choice.

For an adjustable item such as headwear, establish what the adjustment changes. A closure range does not automatically resolve crown depth, brim shape or every wearing preference.

Do not budget for an unconfirmed alteration to rescue an unsuitable choice. Ask whether the required change is feasible before treating it as part of the plan.

Remeasure feet instead of converting from memory

When the selected footwear chart asks for foot length, measure both feet using its instructions. In the paper method, secure the paper on a hard, flat surface, stand with balanced weight and mark heel and longest-toe positions with the pen upright. Measure between the marks and use the longer foot when consulting that chart.

Keep this measurement distinct from an insole, outsole or printed CM size. They are not automatically interchangeable. Read width and between-size guidance for the particular footwear rather than adding a fixed extra distance.

The shoe guide helps separate fit and intended use from an assumed later correction. A different size should answer a clear requirement, not serve as a second guess purchased alongside the first.

Resolve a warehouse discrepancy using the original comparison

If an available measurement image differs from your notes, inspect its endpoints and garment state before drawing a conclusion. Ask for the specific missing detail and establish availability and any charge before requesting more work.

Kakobuy's English inspection scope names appearance, model, style and size. A readable size label can identify the supplied option; it cannot reproduce trying it on. The QC guide explains when another view could change the decision.

If the methods are comparable and the difference remains important, describe it with the Item ID and ordered option. Read the applicable return conditions before arranging further handling. Do not turn a mismatch into an automatic return entitlement or an instruction to buy a second size.

FAQ

Should I order two sizes when the chart is unclear?

First resolve what the chart measures. Two purchases do not correct a missing method or an unsuitable cut.

Can I ignore every small measurement difference?

No universal tolerance is supplied here. Establish the method, relevant item conditions and whether the difference affects your intended fit.

Does a larger size add space only where I need it?

Do not assume so. Compare all important dimensions across the actual rows before choosing.

What should accompany a measurement question?

The Item ID, option, chart type, unit, endpoints and the precise disagreement. Keep the requested answer focused on the choice it can change.

Compare the measurement method, not just the label

Use the measurement and chart connected to the selected item rather than a general conversion. Record the relevant body or foot measurement, the size system shown, and the fit requirement that matters for your use.

Compare one chosen option at a time. Do not buy multiple adjacent sizes simply because a chart is unclear. If a measurement or cut remains unresolved, leave that candidate outside the active order and ask the focused question before payment.
