Before a first payment, open the account through an address you entered yourself, inspect the selected goods and read the amount you are authorising. A convincing social profile does not establish who receives a transfer.
If a message asks you to move payment into a private conversation, return to the order record and ask support to explain the request. Keep the purchase undecided until the destination, purpose and amount are clear.
Judge the proposed transaction rather than a single label
Ask who receives the money, which selected goods it buys, which further costs remain and how you can raise a problem through the account. These questions are more useful than treating a promotional screenshot or one review as a guarantee. A real platform can still involve an unsuitable product, a misunderstood condition or an impersonation attempt outside the normal account flow.
Before approving payment, compare the order's option, quantity, currency and amount with your own notes. If a message asks you to send money somewhere else, do not assume that the conversation is part of the existing order. Return to the account and ask for the purpose of the request to be explained without handing over passwords or verification codes.
Keep the decision reversible where possible
Resolve an unexplained request before making another commitment. At the same time, continue to track conditions on goods already purchased; declining a new payment does not remove existing deadlines.
